Traditional Furniture : Old World Quality from Bernard Christianson
Traditional manufacturer Bernard Christianson makes "furniture designed and scaled for today's lifestyles." As you can see scale aside, the look and detailing is exquisite to say the least. Bernard Christianson uses delicate inlaid veneer, old world construction, intricate hand carving, hand rubber finishes, and solid brass hardware for his furniture that is made in small batches with close personal attention. Here are a few of their small chests of drawers that work perfectly in entry ways and foyers or anywhere else in need of a nice touch of class. See the entire collection from Bernard Christianson that includes, bedroom, dining, and occasional tables for the lover of fine traditional furniture.
Durapella Earth Armless Chair from Ashley Furniture
Ashley Furniture has such a large collection to browse. Of all the occasional chairs, the Earth Armless has to be my favorite. I think this piece is wonderful in how its use of colors create a fun design sure to draw the attention of your guests. The upholstery pattern has style and flair that is not usually found on larger pieces from the collection such as sofas and sectionals. I also like this piece in a bedroom as an extra chair for reading or watching TV. Available: here.

Ashley Furniture Reclining Sofas: Durapebble in Khaki
I am a big fan of Durapebble Khaki Reclining Sofas like you see in the picture. Ashley Furniture is usually known for its traditional furniture style. This design inspiration for this piece draws upon the roots of Italian sofa manufacturers such as Natuzzi. Modern Italian design has a way of making a piece appear "softer" and a bit smaller which allows for it to not become the dominant piece in a living room. Another great element of the Durapebble is that it gives you options about accent pieces. Since it is more transitional, you have the chance to mix and match modern and traditional pieces along with this sofa. Available: here.

Alladio Crimson Sofas from Ashley Furniture
You have to admit that red makes a statement in any living room. This is precisely what the Alladio Crimson sofas from Ashley Furniture are designed to do. Crimson is a softer shade of red so as to not make "too bold" a statement for a more traditional home. I like how the throw pillows bring out some other colors in the picture and show other color possibilities. Let's face it. Red is fun, so this may be the right piece to showcase in your living room.
